Liquid Biomass

The Biomass Lab can perform the main chemical-physical analyses on liquid biofuel (vegetable oil, biodiesel, pyrolitic oil) to evaluate their quality for energy application. UNI/TS 11163:2009 (Liquid biofuels - Animal and vegetable oils and fats and their intermediates and derivates used as fuels for energy production - Specifications and classification for energy use) is the main technical reference.

The components of Biomass Lab contribute to the development of national and European technical standards for biofuels.
